The Narrative: Theatrical Volume & Patterned Texture This hospitality interior architecture coordinates massive spatial volume with an intricate, multi-layered ornamental envelope. The design utilizes deep grid geometry and highly reflective, faceted planes to expand the overhead limits of the space, creating a grand, celebratory atmosphere where clean structural framing balances highly detailed surface textures.
Materiality & Spatial Execution
• The Overhead Geometry: The ceiling functions as the primary architectural focal point, executed via a deeply recessed coffered grid. Each structural pocket houses intricate, faceted geometric glass paneling that mimics raw crystal formations, outlined by integrated linear brass channels that fill the entire hall with multi-directional illumination.
• The Screening & Thresholds: Monolithic stone portals frame expansive wall panels inset with high-contrast, mashrabiya-inspired metal lattice screens. These screens repeat across the multi-level vertical planes, filtering ambient backlighting and adding a layer of crisp, geometric shadow play to the neutral stone surfaces.
• Monumental Flow: Spatial circulation is anchored by a grand, multi-flight monumental staircase wrapped in custom metal balustrades and topped with polished stone treads. This dramatic structural intervention serves as both a primary functional pathway for large events and a calculated visual anchor within the sprawling, double-height volume.
